Our Asset Recovery Plan can help you maximize the return on your IT investment by capturing residual value of your assets. You can also choose to refurbish your older equipment, and reuse it within your own organization, or donate it. For obsolete equipment, we offer safe, secure disposal that meets all federal and state regulations.

ASSET RECOVERY
As your company upgrades its computers, printers and networking products, LANtek's Asset Recovery Plan allows you to recoup some of the cost of phasing out older equipment, while addressing security issues. With our Asset Recovery Plan, your used equipment is sanitized - a security measure to ensure the destruction of all sensitive data on your old equipment, removing all risk of identification. The equipment is then resold, with a portion of the profits returned to you. We’ve been a major reseller of used products since 2000, using a variety of marketing including buyusedpcs.com.
ABSOLUTE DATA SECURITY
For both resold and recycled products, LANtek uses a proprietary software program which utilizes a one-pass procedure for data destruction that includes triple secure data overwriting procedure, which eliminates the ability to recover any files. This process meets the HIPAA compliancy requirements.
HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL
LANtek has contracts with certified Hazardous Waste Disposal Centers for disposal. These centers are specially equipped to deal with hazardous materials such as nickel cadmium and lithium ion found in batteries, and plastics, glass and other metals. All disposed equipment receives a Certificate of Recycling in compliance with hazardous waste disposal regulations. All scrap disposal certificates include serial numbers and dates of certified disposal. Scrap is 100% disposed of through a Certified Recycler who does not resell or export product!

DONATION: We can help deserving students and charities locally or across the country by refurbishing and donating your IT equipment.
REDEPLOYMENT: We can conduct redeployment audits and data overwrites before returning your assets to reuse within your company.
EMPLOYEE PURCHASE. LANtek can manage an IT purchase program that gives your employees the first right of purchase of your securely refurbished equipment, through third-party transactions between LANtek and your employees.
